Dr. Khurana is a born leader and educator. As a former chief resident he devoted his free time to improving the lives of his fellow residents and providing guidance to the junior residents. As a new faculty member he has focused his time on ensuring that his fellow junior attendings feel comfortable and inspired to improve emergency medicine. He is dedicated to teaching and mentoring both physicians, nursing and students. He focuses on building a team dynamic centered on trust and communication.
