Dr. Shetty's career is marked by a series of extraordinary accomplishments that underscore her commitment to advancing family medicine and improving human well-being. I have been working in ambulatory medicine across three different health systems for 18 years. I have met countless physicians, ACPs, Nurses etc and I have never met someone quite like Dr. Shetty. The way she cares for her patients, her staff and colleagues and the way her patients care for her are truly remarkable. Earlier this year Dr. Shetty had a medical emergency that required her to take some time off, in true Dr. Shetty fashion she was more concerned with the impact on her patients being cancelled and re-scheduled then she was with her own well-being. We had to cancel her patients and they were more concerned with how Dr. Shetty was vs. their own healthcare needs. It is a testament to the kind of provider and human being Dr. Shetty is. I personally feel very privileged to get work along side her everyday.
