Dr. Hennessy Skehan is one of the most compassionate, respectful, and extraordinary physicians I have ever known. I first met her years ago when I worked in the ICU as an administrative staff member and she was a resident. From the very beginning, she treated me with genuine kindness and professionalism, showing the same level of respect to staff as she did to her colleagues and patients. That early impression has never faded, and it is a true reflection of who she is as a physician and as a person. Since becoming my primary care doctor, Dr. Hennessy Skehan has been a steady and supportive presence through some of the most difficult times in my life, including personal health challenges. When I was faced with a deeply personal medical issue, she did not just write a prescription—she took the time to listen, explore every option, and guide me through both medical and non-medical solutions. Her compassion in those moments showed me that she truly prioritizes the whole patient, not just the condition. Having her as my primary physician makes me extremely happy, because I know I am in the care of someone who is both clinically excellent and deeply human. I often recommend her to my friends, because I want them to experience the same extraordinary care and respect that she provides.
